Daniel - Teaches Drumming
Daniel grew up surrounded by music and has been learning and playing many styles since he got his first drum set in 2005. His first 10 years of formal music instruction came from the concert percussion and marching arts, performing in his high school marching band, concert bands, and indoor drumline as well as competing with the world class independent drumline George Mason University in Virginia. This cemented his ability as a rhythm player and built the foundation needed to start teaching.
Daniel started teaching individual lessons to younger students while in high school and went on to be the percussion instructor for a few high school drumlines during his time in college at VCU. After stepping away from the marching arts Daniel transitioned into a focus on drum set, digital drum programming, and audio engineering. He played drums for many churches for multiple years and started a home recording studio during the same time.
Daniel is now a recent graduate of the Music program at Lane Community College and worked as a tutor in the music lab for the last year of his education. He is excited and ready to help provide Lane county with as many great drummers as he can! He is open to teaching any and all ages, from beginner to intermediate.
